Masseria Specula is truly a gem in the heart of Puglia, just five minutes from the Ionian Sea. This property offers everything a retreat host could dream of and more. I brought a group of ten guests, and every single person had a transformational experience here. The energy of the place, the beautiful weather, and the comfortable rooms created an atmosphere of safety and ease. The property is gated with secure access, ample parking, and is conveniently located near major roads making it simple for everyone to arrive, even independently from Brindisi. The food was absolutely unforgettable. The kitchen is run by a team of incredible women, serving everything from fresh mozzarella and prosciutto to whole baked fish, fresh pastas, as well as wine and olive oil tastings. Every meal was nourishing, abundant, and prepared with so much love. The staff were kind, attentive, and accommodating. They speak English, which made communication seamless, and the fact that the entire team was made up of women gave us an added sense of comfort and safety. Laundry service was also available for guests, at a cost, which was an added convenience. The owner, went above and beyond to support me in planning every detail of the retreat. His care and dedication were truly invaluable. We also had the pleasure of working with the on-site masseuse, whose healing touch left a lasting impression on everyone. I cannot recommend Masseria Specula enough for retreats, gatherings, or simply a peaceful escape. We had a wonderful, heart-opening time and I am already looking forward to returning next year.
